Yakima 2071 SideWinder Tandem Bicycle Carrier for Car Roof Racks allows for convenient one person loading and unloading of tandem bicycles. With its easy swing-out skewer arm you can hook the fork on first, then swing the bike into place. This new design mounts to round or square crossbars, includes a handlebar strap and firmly holds all tandem frame bikes securely. The stainless steel long-throw-skewer with single side adjustability holds any 9mm / 100mm tandem fork. Bottom mounted cables are protected with unique padded boom cradle and quick release ratcheting straps. The SideWinder is designed to clear rear doors and hatches on most vehicles. For full system security, add SKS Lock Cores (sold separately).
