RockyMounts DropTop Locking Thru-Axle Bike Rack

Introducing the DropTop - RockyMounts latest bike fork mount that has been developed over the years with input and feedback from users. The DropTop features a TPU overmolded shim that eliminates the need to switch shims out and allows for both 12mm and 15mm axles to fit easily. The mount is based on the clamshell design of the popular DriveShaft series, which enables easy loading and adapts to minor differences in axle diameter or contouring. The DropTop can be mounted vertically or horizontally, and it replaces both the DriveShaft HM and DriveShaft Track Mounts.

The DropTop is the only locking thru-axle track mount for trucks and vans that can handle 12mm, 15mm, and 20mm thru axles up to 110mm wide. For 20mm, the shims must be removed. The TPU overmolded shim ensures that the axle remains secure and cannot be removed when the DropTop is clamped and locked, providing an added layer of security against theft.

The DropTop can accommodate QR bikes with the optional 9mm QR with Dummy Axle (sold separately). The mount has a wide mouth opening that makes it easy to load your bike and a locking T-Bolt that can be adjusted to provide a tighter hold, ensuring that the thru-axle cannot be removed when locked. The mount can carry one bike weighing up to 45 lbs and comes with a lock core, keys, and track hardware.

Please note that the DropTop is only suitable for use with 9x100mm quick release or bolt-on axles. If you have a different axle size, you can use the Dummy Axle with your DropTop.
