The Vantech J1050 Aluminum 2 Bar 50" Ford Transit Connect Aerodynamic Utility Ladder Racks is specifically designed for the 2008-2013 Ford Transit Connect Van. The Vantech J1050 is aerodynamically designed for fuel efficiency and to help minimize wind noise. The rack is bolted to the 4 factory fixed mounting points on the roof of the Ford Transit Connect. No drilling is required and all mounting hardware is included. The maximum load capacity for the Vantech J1050 is 400 lbs - evenly distributed. The aerodynamic, oblong shaped reinforced aluminum cross bars have built-in channels top and bottom for mounting optional accessories. The mounting bases are 2.75" wide and approximately 1/8" thick at the base and fasten into the slot on the bottom of the cross bars. The low profile design of the Vantech J1050 sits approximately 3.25 inches high.The cross bars can be protected by adding a rubber bar guard that inserts into the top channel (sold separately, see below). The Vantech J1050 Ford Transit Connect racks are available in anodized black, anodized silver, or powder coated white. Please select your preferred color from the drop-down list.
