The Vantech J1203 Aluminum 3 Bar 50" Ford Transit Connect Aerodynamic Utility Ladder Racks is specifically designed for the 2014+ Ford Transit Connect. It's aerodynamically designed for fuel efficiency and to help minimize wind noise. The rack is bolted to the factory installed fixed mounting points on the roof of the Ford Transit. This rack has two installation options: 1) Remove headliner to secure the rack using included hardware with interior plates. 2) Use Plus Nut Rivet Kit (part# VTK058) to secure the rack without removing the headliner (sold separately - see below). The maximum load capacity is 600 lbs - evenly distributed. The aerodynamic, oblong shaped reinforced aluminum cross bars have built-in channels top and bottom for mounting optional accessories. The mounting bases are 2.75" wide and approximately 1/8" thick at the base and fasten into the slot on the bottom of the cross bars. The Rubber Bar Guards are included to help protect the crossbars. The Vantech J1203 Ford Transit Connect racks are available in anodized black, powder coated silver, or powder coated white. Please select your preferred color from the drop-down list.
