Ski and snowboard racks are a great way to carry your gear to and from the slopes. Thule, Yakima, and Rhino-Rack offer multiple sizes depending on your needs. Most clamp-on Ski/Snowboard carriers come in two sizes and carry a total of 4 skis/2 snowboards or 6 skis/4 snowboards. All models are fully lockable and include universal mounting hardware.
If you would prefer to keep your gear out of the elements, cargo boxes are a fantastic option. Cargo boxes help keep the elements off your skis or boards, and may have room for ski poles and boots as welll. All boxes are locking and include universal mounting hardware to fit on most factory-installed or brand name crossbars. Depending on the size of the box, they can fit anywhere from 4-6 skis, 2-4 snowboards, or a combination of both.
