Description
The System One I.T.S. Contractor Rig for utility and service body trucks is built for professionals who depend on their equipment every day. Designed for hauling ladders, conduit, pipe, lumber, and long materials, this overhead aluminum truck rack delivers the strength and stability required for demanding construction and fleet environments.
Constructed from extruded aluminum with stainless steel fasteners, the I.T.S. Contractor Rig supports up to 1,250 lbs while eliminating the rust and maintenance concerns associated with steel racks. The system mounts to System One Utility Traks, which bolt to the top surface of the service body using concealed hardware. These Traks serve as both a structural mounting base and an integrated tie-down rail. Utility Traks are available in 8', 9', and 11' lengths to match common service body sizes. Because body-to-cab height varies, the difference between the service body and cab roof must be provided to ensure proper rack height selection.
For everyday usability, the rear crossbar can be removed to accommodate taller equipment. Ladder Life anti-wear inserts help stabilize and protect ladders across each cross member, while a Ladder Glide insert on the rear cross member reduces friction during loading. The system is also designed to integrate with optional System One Work Winches and other accessories for secure, efficient overhead tie-down of long materials.
This rack is not compatible with flip-top service bodies. If your service body features top-opening compartments with a narrow hinge ledge, Utility Traks cannot be installed. In these cases, contact System One (800-627-9783) directly to explore potential custom solutions.
