Yakima 8005042 LockNLoad SL Adapter Kit is designed to attach the Yakima LockNLoad Platform Racks directly to Yakima TimberLine or SkyLine Towers. The LockNLoad SL Adapter Kit is sold as a set of 2 adapters with enough hardware to attach to 2 Yakima TimberLine or SkyLine Towers. The LockNLoad platform requires either 2 or 3 sets of adapters depending on the number of crossbars you have on your vehicle. These structural steel brackets have a powder coat finish for durability and resistance to the elements. Each set of adapters adds 110lbs of weight capacity per crossbar to your rack system. Never exceed the vehicle manufacturer or the Yakima specified weight limit for your vehicle.
