Just like the original StageTwo, the +2 prioritizes bike protection and ease of use. The StrongArm™ hook secures each bike by the wheels, safeguarding painted surfaces and even carbon frames. Enjoy convenient trunk access thanks to the remote 3-Position tilt mechanism, which also folds the rack flat when not in use. StadiumSeating™ with tiered and adjustable trays minimizes bike-to-bike interference, while offset trays provide even more clearance. Versatile enough for almost any bike, from fat tire and mountain bikes to road, hybrid, BMX, kids’ bikes, and e-bikes (up to 40 lbs each), the +2 fits wheel sizes from 16" to 29" and tires up to 5" wide, accommodating wheelbases from 30” to 52”. Integrated SKS locks secure bikes to the rack and the rack to your vehicle, with an additional lock loop for added security. RampUp compatible V-shaped trays make loading a breeze, and the add-on is compatible with the Yakima SafetyMate, BackSwing, and StraightShot accessories. And, of course, Yakima included a built-in bottle opener for those post-ride celebrations. Available in Anthracite and Slate (2" only), the StageTwo +2 is road-tested and approved for up to 40 lbs per bike, and off-road rated for up to 24 lbs per bike. The Yakima StageTwo +2 is not RV compatible.
