The Vantech H1372 2 bar aluminum van utility ladder rack is specifically designed for Mercedes Metris Vans 2016-On. The Vantech H1 H1372 is bolted directly to the factory fixed mounting points on the roof of the Mercedes Metris Van. The maximum load capacity is 500 lbs - evenly distributed. The H1 H1372 Mercedes Metris Van Rack uses 2" x 1" reinforced extruded aluminum crossbars with internal structural support. The H1 H1372 crossbars are protected with a non-slip rubber bar guard mounted on top of the bars. The aluminum mounting uprights are 1/8" thick at the base and 8" wide with an overall height of 10.25". The bases are welded onto upright posts for added strength and durability. Each mounting upright has two 3/4" eye hooks used to mount additional accessories. The black rubber caps on the top of the upright posts prevent wind noise and water pooling. The Mercedes Metris Van Ladder Rack includes one A06 5" galvanized rubber dipped ladder stopper, one A02 5.5" galvanized rubber dipped ladder guide, and one A69 EZ Velcro strap to secure up to a 75 lb ladder. The Vantech H1372 Mercedes Metris Van Racks are available in powder coated black, powder coated white, and silver. The crossbar fixed mounting locations may vary from the illustration image. "Absolutely Fantastic customer service!!!"
"My husband needed to buy a new roof rack for a truck he recently purchased and was told to get a System One brand that makes the racks from aluminium (so it doesnt rust). So I went searching online and originally went to System One's website to see if I could buy it direct from them, but I couldnt, so I found rackwarehouse.com who did sell them. Initially I was hesitant to buy something like this online since we had a bad experience with the 1st roof rack we bought 10 years ago from an online dealer, but it was impossible to find this thing in a bricks and mortar shop so we were kinda stuck buying online. So kind of reluctantly we went ahead and made the $$$$ dollar purchase with rackwarehouse, just praying we didnt get ripped off or have it arrive 6 months late and in hot pink or something. Well to my surprise, we had THE BEST EXPERIENCE WITH THIS WEBSITE! Not only did the rack arrive in 24 HOURS, but the following morning after I placed the order, a kind man phoned me to let me know we ordered the wrong sized rack for the truck we had (they ask you for the truck make and model when you buy it to make sure you get the right one) He said we bought the wrong size which was for a compact truck and that the correct size was about 9 bucks more. So he sent me the invoice, I paid within the hour, and then he shipped it THAT DAY and it arrived THE NEXT DAY. Bam! Perfect! I was so grateful he phoned up and he was soooooooooooooooooo nice! Really kind person and said this happens all the time. So dont forget to leave your vehicle details during checkout when prompted! I highly recommend this company. They are based in VT and have A+ service. The ladder rack was perfect as well. If we ever need anything rack related we will be going to this website from now on forever more. Thanks guys!!"
