The Thule Range 9057 4 Bike Hitch Mounted Bicycle Rack is a durable, secure and protective bike rack specifically designed to handle the tremendous forces on the back of an RV or Travel Trailer. The Thule Range has a heavily reinforced base making the bike rack extremely durable and RV compatible. The Range is only compatible with 2" receiver hitches. The bike cradles on the Thule Range space the bikes 7" apart and use a convenient ratcheting strap design making loading and unloading quick and easy. The Thule Range can accommodate a wide variety of bike sizes and frames styles due to the compact cradle design. Not all frame styles will fit a hanging style bike rack. However, Thule offers the 982xt Bike Frame Adapter as a solution (sold separately - see below). The anti-sway mechanism is a key feature on the bike cradles, adding stability and helping minimize bike to bike contact during transport. The Thule Range has the ability to lock your bikes to the rack and the rack to your hitch. A hide-away, retractable, locking cable stores in the rack mast and conveniently extends to lock your bikes to the rack. A Thule SnugTite Hitch Lock will lock your bike rack to your receiver hitch.
