Description
The System One Wind Deflector is designed for System One truck and van ladder racks, attaching in the mid-range position along extension beams. Its primary function is to reduce wind noise and drag caused by the rack structure while driving, improving comfort and vehicle efficiency. Constructed from durable aluminum, the deflector offers robust support and resistance to corrosion. A Ladder Life rubber anti-wear strip cushions contact points to prevent damage to ladders or materials, while all stainless steel fasteners ensure lasting security and rust resistance.
This wind deflector requires a System One ladder rack as a base and mounts specifically to its extension beams. It is not a standalone rack component but an accessory to reduce the aerodynamic noise produced by wind passing over the rack system. The length is 48.25", fitting most mid-range positions on System One racks for trucks and vans. This placement is optimal to balance noise reduction without interfering with ladder loading or storage.
