Description
The Thule Helium Pro lightweight aluminum trailer hitch mounted bicycle rack is nearly half the weight of traditional steel frame hitch racks. Thule has incorporated maximum convenience, bike protection and security all into one sleek, stylish hitch rack. The Thule Helium Pro Snug-Tite Stinger makes installation easier than ever. To install the rack, simply push the bike rack into your receiver hitch until the integrated auto-hitch-pin snaps into place or engages with your hitch. The tightening knob will activate the anti-rattle mechanism to help eliminate vertical and horizontal movement for a secure and stable fit. The Helium Pro has a compact bike cradle design that accommodates a variety of bike sizes and frame styles. If you have a odd shaped bike frame or traditional women's bike you may want to consider Thule's 982xt bike frame adapter (sold separately - see below). The Helium Pro cradles use a ratcheting style cradle strap - making loading and unloading your bikes quick and easy. The bike cradles are spaced 7" apart providing a greater distance between bikes for a safe and secure fit. Bike cradles also include Anti-Sway fasteners which help provide extra stability, protection and prevent bike-to-bike contact. The Helium Pro accommodates both 1.25 and 2 inch receivers - right out of the box. The Helium Pro's sleek, ultra-light aluminum frame design improves ground clearance and increases the distance between bikes for superior bicycle protection. The Helium Pro lower Hitch Switch Lever enables fast and easy access to the rear of your vehicle. All bikes must be removed from the carrier before tilting it down. The upper Hitch Switch gives you the ability to quickly fold down the bike arms when the rack is not in use. The Helium Pro includes a built-in cable lock. A locking knob on the hitch connection locks the bike rack to your vehicle. Please check the following fit compatibility chart to ensure this bike rack will work with your particular hitch style - Thule Hitch Rack - Fit Tips Chart.

"Absolutely Fantastic customer service!!!"
"My husband needed to buy a new roof rack for a truck he recently purchased and was told to get a System One brand that makes the racks from aluminium (so it doesnt rust). So I went searching online and originally went to System One's website to see if I could buy it direct from them, but I couldnt, so I found rackwarehouse.com who did sell them. Initially I was hesitant to buy something like this online since we had a bad experience with the 1st roof rack we bought 10 years ago from an online dealer, but it was impossible to find this thing in a bricks and mortar shop so we were kinda stuck buying online. So kind of reluctantly we went ahead and made the $$$$ dollar purchase with rackwarehouse, just praying we didnt get ripped off or have it arrive 6 months late and in hot pink or something. Well to my surprise, we had THE BEST EXPERIENCE WITH THIS WEBSITE! Not only did the rack arrive in 24 HOURS, but the following morning after I placed the order, a kind man phoned me to let me know we ordered the wrong sized rack for the truck we had (they ask you for the truck make and model when you buy it to make sure you get the right one) He said we bought the wrong size which was for a compact truck and that the correct size was about 9 bucks more. So he sent me the invoice, I paid within the hour, and then he shipped it THAT DAY and it arrived THE NEXT DAY. Bam! Perfect! I was so grateful he phoned up and he was soooooooooooooooooo nice! Really kind person and said this happens all the time. So dont forget to leave your vehicle details during checkout when prompted! I highly recommend this company. They are based in VT and have A+ service. The ladder rack was perfect as well. If we ever need anything rack related we will be going to this website from now on forever more. Thanks guys!!"
