All swinging models require a 2" hitch due to the added weight and leverage of the system. Swing-away Bike racks are offered in a wide variety of styles in both hanging and platform configurations. A swing-away base can also be purchased as a stand-alone accessory to turn your trusty 2" bike rack you already have into a nifty swing-away system. Unfortunately for the RV guys out there, the brands we offer do not green light the use of swing-away racks with an RV.
