This carrier features a Universal Mounting System designed to fit securely onto virtually any existing cross bars, including square, round, and most factory bars, provided the mounting bar spread is more than 24." The design prioritizes convenience and protection: the rack is foldable when not in use, reducing vertical clearance for easier garage access, and it comes complete with pads and straps, including buckle pads to prevent the kayak's surface from being scratched by the belt buckles during transport.
