Description
Yakima 8001149 LongArm, Trailer Hitch Receiver Mounted Kayak/Canoe Rack and Bed Extender is a sturdy, rear-of-vehicle mount which positions a bar at the rear of your pickup truck, SUV, or other vehicle with a 2" trailer hitch receiver. The Yakima LongArm is a T-frame design with 3 height positions to accommodate your load at bed height, bed rail height, or roof height (LongArm Height Extension sold separately - see below). The LongArm's tilt down mast provides easy tailgate or hatch access and assists with easier boat loading. In the lower positions, the LongArm provides up to 48 inches of additional support for items carried in your open bed or at bed rail height with a Yakima BedRock rack or tonneau mounted system. The 1149 LongArm features rugged aluminum construction for a lightweight, easy tilt design that can handle loads up to 300 pounds in the lower positions. The 60" wide crossbar includes integrated tie down points and bottle openers on the end caps. Most Yakima universal bar mount water sport accessories fit and may be added to the LongArm for additional TLC and hull stability. All installation hardware and mounting directions are included with the Yakima LongArm.
