Description
Yakima 8004041 BigStack Kayak Carrier is designed to attach to Yakima Roundbars, Thule square crossbars, and most factory installed wing shaped crossbars to securely hold up to 4 kayaks on their sides. The Yakima BigStack Kayak Stacker is constructed with a steel core frame and integrated HullGuard padding to safely carry and protect your kayaks. The Yakima BigStack is very stable, easy to use, and folds down flat when not in use for better garage clearance and aerodynamics. The Yakima BigStack Kayak Stacker is equipped with AnchorHead technology for simple and secure kayak fastening. The BigStack may be locked to the crossbar with the addition of Yakima SKS lock cores (sold separately). The BigStack Kayak Carriers are sold in pairs (one for the front bar, one for the rear bar) and fit Yakima, Thule, and most factory crossbars right out of the box. One pair of heavy duty tie down straps are included to secure 1 kayak to the carrier. One pair of bow and stern tie-down straps are included (and strongly recommended) to keep your kayak safe at highway speeds, in gusty side winds, and during sudden acceleration and braking.

"Absolutely Fantastic customer service!!!"
"My husband needed to buy a new roof rack for a truck he recently purchased and was told to get a System One brand that makes the racks from aluminium (so it doesnt rust). So I went searching online and originally went to System One's website to see if I could buy it direct from them, but I couldnt, so I found rackwarehouse.com who did sell them. Initially I was hesitant to buy something like this online since we had a bad experience with the 1st roof rack we bought 10 years ago from an online dealer, but it was impossible to find this thing in a bricks and mortar shop so we were kinda stuck buying online. So kind of reluctantly we went ahead and made the $$$$ dollar purchase with rackwarehouse, just praying we didnt get ripped off or have it arrive 6 months late and in hot pink or something. Well to my surprise, we had THE BEST EXPERIENCE WITH THIS WEBSITE! Not only did the rack arrive in 24 HOURS, but the following morning after I placed the order, a kind man phoned me to let me know we ordered the wrong sized rack for the truck we had (they ask you for the truck make and model when you buy it to make sure you get the right one) He said we bought the wrong size which was for a compact truck and that the correct size was about 9 bucks more. So he sent me the invoice, I paid within the hour, and then he shipped it THAT DAY and it arrived THE NEXT DAY. Bam! Perfect! I was so grateful he phoned up and he was soooooooooooooooooo nice! Really kind person and said this happens all the time. So dont forget to leave your vehicle details during checkout when prompted! I highly recommend this company. They are based in VT and have A+ service. The ladder rack was perfect as well. If we ever need anything rack related we will be going to this website from now on forever more. Thanks guys!!"
