A kayak trailer ends the two-person lift onto the roof: load at waist height, tow behind any car with a 2" hitch ball, and back it to the water's edge. We stock the two brands that do this well. Malone's MicroSport and EcoLight are galvanized steel, rated 800 and 400 pounds, and happy being backed into salt water. Yakima's Rack and Roll and EasyRider are aluminum, lighter to tow and easy to store on end. Every trailer carries two boats up to 20 feet; add a stacker or a second tier for four, and a tongue extension for boats to 22 feet.
