Yakima EXO System: Your Versatile Adventure Platform
The Yakima EXO System is a modular platform designed to transform your vehicle's hitch into a versatile adventure base. The foundation of the system is the EXO SwingBase, which attaches to your 2" receiver hitch and provides a sturdy, articulating platform for mounting various accessories.
The EXO SwingBase: The Heart of the System
The EXO SwingBase is compatible with Class III and Class IV hitches, and it can safely carry up to 300 lbs of weight. Its articulating arms fold out to create a stable base for attaching different EXO accessories. The entire system can swing away 90 degrees, providing easy access to your vehicle's rear when loaded.
Important Safety Note: Never attempt to swing the unit out while parked on a hill or incline. Doing so could cause the unit to become unstable and potentially damage your vehicle or cause an accident.
Compatibility: The SwingBase is not compatible with any hitch adapters or extenders. For optimal performance and safety, it should be installed directly into your vehicle's hitch.
