This rack fits a range of utility service body lengths—8, 9, and 11 feet—allowing for tailored compatibility with your truck. With a maximum load capacity of 600 lbs, it handles heavy-duty tasks common in construction, trade, and service industries. The rack mounts using concealed bolts to the utility body’s top, which doubles as a tie-down anchor system, helping secure payloads efficiently. Note that it is not compatible with flip-top service bodies; consult System One directly if your body design differs.
Ease of use is a key feature. The rear truss section is removable within seconds for quick access to the truck bed’s rear. Ladder Life anti-wear rubber inserts on the rack and a Ladder Glide low-friction plastic insert on the rear crossbar protect both the rack and ladders during loading and unloading, reducing wear and effort. The corners are equipped with side stops, preventing cargo from shifting sideways.
Constructed from extruded aluminum and stainless steel fasteners, the rack offers corrosion resistance and long-term durability, suitable for tough work environments. "My husband needed to buy a new roof rack for a truck he recently purchased and was told to get a System One brand that makes the racks from aluminium (so it doesnt rust). So I went searching online and originally went to System One's website to see if I could buy it direct from them, but I couldnt, so I found rackwarehouse.com who did sell them. Initially I was hesitant to buy something like this online since we had a bad experience with the 1st roof rack we bought 10 years ago from an online dealer, but it was impossible to find this thing in a bricks and mortar shop so we were kinda stuck buying online. So kind of reluctantly we went ahead and made the $$$$ dollar purchase with rackwarehouse, just praying we didnt get ripped off or have it arrive 6 months late and in hot pink or something. Well to my surprise, we had THE BEST EXPERIENCE WITH THIS WEBSITE! Not only did the rack arrive in 24 HOURS, but the following morning after I placed the order, a kind man phoned me to let me know we ordered the wrong sized rack for the truck we had (they ask you for the truck make and model when you buy it to make sure you get the right one) He said we bought the wrong size which was for a compact truck and that the correct size was about 9 bucks more. So he sent me the invoice, I paid within the hour, and then he shipped it THAT DAY and it arrived THE NEXT DAY. Bam! Perfect! I was so grateful he phoned up and he was soooooooooooooooooo nice! Really kind person and said this happens all the time. So dont forget to leave your vehicle details during checkout when prompted! I highly recommend this company.
