A hanging hitch bike rack is required for the Yakima HitchSki (sold separately). Yakima 8002418 HitchSki Ski and Snowboard Rack is designed to work with 4 or 5 bike Trailer Hitch Receiver Mounted Bicycle Racks (see exceptions below). HitchSki Rack carries up to 6 pairs of skis, or 4 snowboards, or 3 pair of skis and 2 snowboards. The HitchSki Carrier is equipped with soft, rubber padded jaws to delicately protect your skis and snowboards. The 8002418 HitchSki Carrier is designed with adjustable technology to fit the thickest skis and snowboards. The HitchSki Rack includes 2 SKS Lock Cores and Keys to lock your skis and snowboards to the carrier.
Yakima HitchSki is not compatible with:
- 2 or 3 bike hanging hitch racks
- Ridgeback 5
