Description
Turn your vehicle into a true adventure-ready base camp with the Yakima SkyRise HD Durable Softshell Rooftop Tent (8007534), a rugged, four-season rooftop tent designed for travelers who want comfort, protection, and quick setup wherever the road leads. Built from heavy-duty 600D Ripstop polyester with a 3000mm waterproof PU coating, the SkyRise HD stands up to rain, wind, and changing conditions while maintaining balanced breathability for year-round use. A removable 210D Ripstop rainfly extends over the ladder, keeping you dry and covered as you climb into your elevated retreat.
Inside, the tent opens up to a spacious and inviting interior with extra-large doors and windows that create panoramic views and excellent airflow. When the rainfly is removed, these openings double as skylights, letting you enjoy the stars from the comfort of your sleeping space. A premium wall-to-wall memory foam mattress with a removable cover and anti-condensation mat delivers the kind of comfort you expect from home, even in the most remote campsites.
Setup is fast and simple thanks to the softshell design and pop-out expansion that provides sheltered ladder access. The collapsible ladder features wide, barefoot-friendly angled steps for easy climbing, while interior gear pockets help keep essentials organized and within reach. Dual zippered passthrough ports allow you to route power or accessories inside the tent, making it easy to add lighting or other gear.
When closed, the SkyRise HD maintains a low-profile footprint at 58 inches long, 48 inches wide, and 16.5 inches high, and it mounts securely with lockable tent clamps and included lock cores for added peace of mind. Weighing 131.5 pounds and designed to fit vehicles with a crossbar spread between 26 and 40 inches, this rooftop tent is a dependable choice for weekend explorers and long-haul adventurers alike, all backed by Yakima’s limited two-year warranty.
