E-Bike Hitch Racks

An e-bike hitch rack is a platform rack rated for the weight of an electric bike, which usually weighs 45 to 75 pounds against 25 to 35 for a road or mountain bike. Two numbers decide which one: the rack's rating per bike and what your hitch can carry. Check the per-bike rating against your heaviest bike with the battery in; taking the battery out before loading saves 6 to 10 pounds. Then check the hitch.
