RockyMounts SwitchHitter LS 12725 is one of the most versatile fork mount bike carriers in the industry. The SwitchHitter LS offers a sleek 1.5" low profile design with a cut-out to accommodate all bikes with disc brakes. The SwitchHitter LS works great with skinny road bike tires and tire up to 3" wide. The SwitchHitter LS versatility allows it to fit all 9mm quick releases and can be easily adjusted to handle bikes with 12x100, 15x100, and 15x110 thru-axles. The SwitchHitter LS has two sleek mounting options: 1) uses flexible rubber-coated steel straps that mold to any crossbar shape and style including all Yakima, Thule, Rhino-Rack, Malone, and factory installed crossbars, 2)Integrated slotted crossbar mount for Thule Aero Bars, Yakima Jetstream, or OEM Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Mini, Volkswagen and Volvo crossbars. The SwitchHitter LS can handle up to a 35 lbs bike. With the addition of 2 RockyMounts lock cores (sold separately - see below), the SwitchHitter LS has the ability to lock to the vehicle and uses a integrated cable lock built into the rear part of the bike tray to lock your bike frame to the carrier.
