The Saris 4430 Swing Away Hitch Base features a 90 degree pivot giving you free and clear hatch access without having to remove your bikes. The Saris Swing Away Hitch Base is designed to handle up to 250 lbs of bike weight. The Saris 4030 Swing Away hitch base is compatible with the following Saris bike racks - Freedom and SuperClamp platform hitch racks. Saris has equipped the Swing Away hitch base with built-in carrying handles to make it easy to maneuver and install. Saris includes a hitch tightener ensuring a secure fit, while traveling down the road.
