The BaseLine’s patented design uses adjustable drophook clips, offering bi-axial tuning for both pitch and toe angles. This means the crossbars stay level even on curved roofs, and the tower bases conform precisely to tapered rooflines — ensuring stability and minimizing stress on your vehicle.
This system includes a pair of load bars, four BaseLine Towers, and two pairs of vehicle-specific BaseClips (front and rear), along with a pre-calibrated torque tool to achieve the recommended tightness during installation. The padded contact points protect your vehicle’s finish on the roof and door jambs throughout regular use. While fully lockable with Yakima SKS Lock Cores (sold separately), the BaseLine System provides a reliable foundation for carrying a range of rooftop gear like cargo boxes, bike racks, and kayak mounts.
