The RidgeBack fits both 2" and 1.25" receivers by using a removable spacer block, making it versatile for a wide range of cars, SUVs, and trucks. The bike arms hold bikes securely by their frames with ZipStrips that fasten quickly around the bike frame, and feature anti-sway cradles to reduces frame damage and bike-to-bike contact. The bike arms are 28" long and 13.25" wide, accommodating various frame sizes and tire widths.
Loading and unloading bikes is straightforward. The rack comes pre-assembled and installs easily without tools through the integrated SpeedKnob that tightens and locks the rack to your hitch. When you need rear access, the rack tilts away from the vehicle by lifting the UpperHand Control Lever, allowing you to open the hatch or trunk without removing bikes. After use, the mast folds down for compact storage, reducing clutter in your garage or vehicle.
Constructed from durable steel with a protective powder-coated finish, the RidgeBack stands up to regular use and outdoor exposure. For added security, a keyed lock is included to secure the rack to your hitch, while an optional Yakima HandCuff Locking Cable can secure your bikes to the rack (sold separately).
