Yakima 8002465 FullSwing 4 Bike 2 inch Trailer Hitch Receiver Mounted Bicycle Rack combines convenient access to the rear of your vehicle with maximum security and stability for your bikes. Because the FullSwing comes fully assembled right out of the box, even the initial setup is simple. Simply slide the unit's tongue into your vehicle's 2 inch receiver and the AutoPin hitch pin automatically snaps into place - eliminating the need to steady the rack with one hand while fumbling around with a wrench under your vehicle with the other. To fully secure the Yakima FullSwing, hand tighten the integrated SpeedKnob until firmly tight. This activates the anti-rattle mechanism and provides maximum stability by making firm contact with all four inner walls of your vehicle's receiver. When you're ready to get out on the road, flick the red TriggerFinger switch at the top of the mast and raise the bike carrying arms until snapped into place. Bikes may be placed anywhere along the fully padded bike arms. Once your bike is in place, slide the freely moving ZipStrip cradles under your bicycle and pull the ZipStrips tight around the top tube and seat tube. The ZipStrip cradles eliminate the hassle of rubber straps while offering a fast, secure, and stable hold that helps prevent bike-to-bike and bike-to-vehicle contact. The Yakima FullSwing easily swings out toward the passenger side, giving you full access to your vehicle's trunk, hatch or tailgate. The swing out mechanism snaps in place to prevent your bikes from unexpectedly swinging back toward the rear of the vehicle. Note: Never attempt to swing the unit out while parked on a hill. Woman's bikes and bikes with odd shaped frames may require the use of Yakima's Top Tube Frame Adapter Bar (sold separately - see below). The FullSwing includes the locking SpeedKnob mounting system - which locks the FullSwing to your vehicle, and the built-in cable lock - to secure your bicycles to the rack.
